Measurement Guide
Every piece is cut to the figures you send us, so these are the most important numbers of the whole order.
Before you start:
- Use a soft tape measure, with the dog standing and relaxed.
- Keep the tape snug against the coat, never pulled tight.
- Measure twice. If the two figures differ, measure a third time.
- Send the figures in centimetres or inches, and tell us which.
Collars
IROX, IROX PUPPY and SARGE-X
- •Neck. Measure right around the middle of the neck, not tight behind the ears and not low at the base. The tape should sit where the collar will naturally rest.
Do not measure another brand’s collar and send us that figure. It will not translate, and the collar will not fit.
Agitation Harnesses
SENTINEL-X and FORGE-Z
- •A-B · Neck to chest. From the base of the neck to the centre of the chest.
- •B-C · Chest to waist. From the centre of the chest to the waist.
- •C-D · Waist to back (girth). From the waist right around the back.
- •A-D · Neck to back. From the base of the neck to the back.
All four are needed. A harness built on three of them will not sit correctly.
Muzzles
every muzzle is cut to these four figures
- •A-B. Nose tip to the bridge of the muzzle, level with the eyes.
- •B-C. From between the eyes to behind the ears.
- •C. Neck circumference, directly behind the ears.
- •A-D. Nose tip to the back of the head, at the end of the skull.
A muzzle has to allow the mouth to open and the dog to pant. Measure with the dog relaxed, and never pull the tape tight.
E-Collar Straps
replacement straps for remote receivers
- •Neck. Measure the neck circumference directly behind the ears.
These straps fit 3/4″ receivers only. Check the strap width on your remote unit before ordering.
Not sure about a figure? Send it to us on Instagram or at info@iroxgear.com before you order and we will check it with you. A made-to-measure piece cannot be resized once it is cut.
